Thank you for making this Basic Slate of Laws for new Counties. I will greatly help new counties.

Nonetheless, I posted an announcement few days ago called Justice in the Kingdoms. One of the most thing in this text is the following one:

Quote:
A judge may always impose a fine, the amount to be at the judge's discretion, and/or a prison term of not more than three days for all infractions.

The Robbery Law doesn't respect this point so it needs to be changed.

Thank you.

LJS

I don't know exactly if this will effect our laws or not but it is certainly something for our PP and Judge to be aware of.

That edict has been a link on the Judges interface in the castle for a long while albeit in French but I searched out the translation of it when first appointed Judge and found it in the translation forum so I have always made certain the sentencing fell into this mandate.

The laws of Somerset are base on this edict at that time was only in french, but we use it, sajan use it when he act has judge.

And stupid COA of England revised it, clearly not knowing what we talking about, now they are force into this edict and is a good thing.

Laws of somerset are ok and no need to be change since we include that in mind on creation of the legal corpus

You can think that is your right anyway nothing is perfect but the ljs edict don't make the need of revising laws
