We move forward to a equally prosperous and more respecful place. We must.
Lord Hypno, it is a true shame that you feel you have endured so much harrasment that you must leave Somerset, a county which you so greatly love. If that is your ultimate decision I shall respect it. You and others have worked arduously to make Somerset the greatly prosperous (and passionate) place it is today. I truly wish you the best of luck in your future endevours.
To those remaining, Chardy is right, we are a passionate people. Passion can be a guide or a severe hinderance depending on how it is used. We all know how much Hypno loves Somerset, I know NOBODY would ever deny that, let this be our wake up call. The people have spoken, we have said it, and now we have this, let us move on. A new begining of respect, a time for dignity. Let us treat each other with respect, not for each other, but for those whom we represent.
For my part, I pledge to continue my work as Public Prosecutor, to work with Duchess Allikath and the rest of you constructively, and to continue to do my best to respond responsibly to your differing opinions.
And can I please add this note:
No one person or party is to blame for our "passion", it is a collective responsibility. We are all responsible. Let us not party bash under the guise of offering reconsiliation (or ever).
For Somerset!
