| Since the Chard Woodchuck Festival (CWF) is happening in Chard from the 18-25 of August, I was thinking about having the meet and greet immediately following the CWF in Bristol. I do not see how we could have them at the same time as one is in Chard and the Other is in Bristol.
The only way to do this would be to have the "Meet the Council" event at the CWF. It would be a fun event, but it somewhat defeats the purpose of having us in Bristol. We could have the first meet and greet at the CWF and all meetings thereafter be in Bristol.
What do you all think? | |

| I will definately make the meeting in Bristol but I have committed as much as the Court schedule will allow to teaching the greatly needed Roman Church History in Worcester so a fellow Church way student can continue on up North with the knowledge. | |

| Okay so, mainly because I want to bounce too, I am going to think out loud here. Rebo puts a hollow cone to his head to amplify his thoughtsWe should have the Meet and Greet at Bristol following the Chard Woodchuck Festival. The Festival ends on the 25th of August. I figure some of the people who want to go to the Festival will (hopefully) also want to go to the meet and greet, so we may need to give a little extra time for them to get to their home towns (to deal with crops, pick up extra cash, etc.) and then back to Bristol. So the dates that I was thinking were August 30-Sept 1 or Sept 3-5. The first set is a Thursday-Saturday, and the second is a Monday-Wednesday. Do you think it would be good or bad to have the meet and greet partially on a weekend? I see pros and cons of each. Now this WILL be at the beginning of election season, which usually is when tempers fly. I HOPE that if we are all together, this will aide in everyone getting along. and then, in addition, it could be a little Councilor Forum as well. Thoughts? For Somerset! Rebo .... I nearly forgot to bounce with excitement! | |

| Yes Labor Day is Sept 3 here in the US so that would put a damper on attendance as people are away for one last Summer fling or bbq etc | |

| (ooc. that is definitely something I should have caught! Alright then, we certainly should NOT do it over Labor Day weekend. As we will surely loose many (if not most) potential American participants.) What are we thinking as a good alternative? The following week/end? Is that getting too close to elections? I would prefer not to have it at the same time as Woodchuck Fest. What are your thoughts? , Rebo | |

| So what do we all think of the weekend following labor day weekend? And would we want to have it on Thursday-Saturday (Sept. 6-8 ) or Friday-Sunday (Sept. 7-9)? I am leaning more towards Thursday to Saturday, so we cover weekdays and weekends, but I am certainly open to Friday-Sunday if that is better for the body.

| Actually councilor Rebo I would like to request all councilors endeavor to come to Bristol this weekend Sat. the 25 and Sun. the 26.
I know this is short notice and coincides with the Chard Woodchuck festival but there will be several merchants there form Chard, BW, and Bath involved in the Bristol Relief Effort.
There are also people from Wiltshire, worchester, Stafford, and even Sussex in Bristol and on their way. This weekend would be perfect for a "Meet and Greet".
Please all councilors try to attend to meet citizens from all over Somerset and England. | |

| I do not think I will be able to make it in time (at least not by Saturday). I also am not sure if the merchant relief force is still planning on being there - I just received a mail from them (as I was asked to lead the Chard fleet) that might have mentioned they canceled their plans, but it was very vaguely worded.
If the majority of the council can make it this weekend, however, then go for it! It may not be as well advertised as we would have liked, but there is no reason why we can't do more than 1!
