Current affairs of state

The Constable of Somerset Bellos residing.

As Constable I am place with the responsebility of the defence of our towns by appointing Marshals to protect the citizens of Somerset.

The current active Marshals are :

Gregarious , Bath

Mikeblack, Chard

Lord_justinan , Brigdewater

We need a person from Glocester to take the job.


The Constable is also organzing the police force in Somerset.
Currently only Chard branch is operational

The officers are :

Mikeblack
Lomelinde

Their job is to monitor the market for illegal activities and act upon these by writing the offenders.
Often these fractions of the law are mistakes and will be handled by the officers who then add an entry in the towns forum stating the offense and what meassures what taken to rectify the offense.
Should a offender choose to ignore the officer he will be reported to the Constable, who will then ask the prosecutor to file a lawsuit against the offender to the full extend of the law.

I ask each and ecery mayor of Somerset towns to find candidates who will fulfill this task in your town so law an order can make our town prosper.
Please contact the Constable when you have a suiteble candidate and I will let the person know the details of his job as police officer.

Also Budicca has a candidate for the chief marshal post in GC. Please assign that post when she gives you the info.

Mine Superintendent, Sergeant, Constable Gregarious finally stumbles into the correct office.

Sorry for being late. I received excellent and full instruction from Duchess Allikath yesterday on how to perform the new duties I have been entrusted with. Of course her being female and I male I took these instructions and still managed to screw them up. I did not know how to read the dashboard.

Group led by Juanbull : 1 Marshal.
Location: Bridgewater.

Group led by Barerose : 1 Marshal.
Location: Chard.

Group led by Derman : 4 Marshals.
Location: Bristol.

Have all been paid by me. Unfortunately they have received the inflated payment of 28.50 Pounds. I did not know the pay list was written in pence and was very concerned that we were paying 2850P to these men as I had only a couple hundred pounds available. So I tried to change the rate, as I was told to so, to 19. Thinking this would be 19P. In actuality, it would have been 19 pence. But luckily my quille (mouse) is not working well and the order to change the rate never went out.

We have need of a chief Marshall in Gloucester and In Bath presently.

Derman has reported the over payment to me.

In addition please know that you have the gratitude of the council and the people of Somerset for your versitility in stepping into any position where you are needed to help the council.

Please make sure the chief marshals wages are adjusted to correct the overage and average out to 19 pounds per day.
In addition, in case I forgot to mention it, the marshals we hired for Bristol are to be paid 17 pounds per day as they are not chief marshals.

Well, here we are again .

We have a new Chief Marshal for Gloucester. Still looking for one in Bath. I will post a hiring in their forums as I live there anyway.

Now the bad news. I must report myself as an attempted slaver. I overpaid the first day so was instructed to recoup the moneys overpaid to the Chief Marshal's. This is easily and regularly done when I was a Marshal. However, in my haste, I have now posted 2 marshal jobs on the Bristol Town site for 9 Pounds and I have no idea how to make them go away. The only option I see would be to disband the group. Which would mean I would have to rehire the Chief Marshal. I do not want to have to do this.

Please forgive a novice in his job. I throw myself on the mercy of the Public Prosecutor and the Judge of Somerset. If charges are to be brought, I will of course be forced to resign my seat. I do not know if anyone has taken the job offers. Last I heard they were still available on the job market in Bristol. Unfortunately as I stated above I do not know how to remove them to prevent myself being guilty of slavery.

Certainly you won't be charged with anything.

There is no way to cancel them like the ingame field job offers?

Any rate if anyone takes them we can compensate them for the remainder.

No , these jobs cannot canceled, and also if you dismiss the C.Marshal and hire him again the next day , well, we got some kind of a bug here.

He will not appear to your menu, desptite the fact that he will defend the Power.

At least, once happened like that and we had problem in Gloucester with Londonzoo.

OK we have achieved full coverage with Chief Marshal's again. Marshal's are being hired in Bristol as well per the previous plan. Let me know if that still stands. Good work from The Mayor of Bristol and the people of the other towns to get names to me to offer the C. MArshal positions to. Thank you for your help in completing my appointed rounds.

The funds to pay the marshals was not transfered so they were not paid today.
We will have to double the payments tomorrow.
