| Any words specifically targetted at another player in a negative fashion should not exist in Somerset, and should be prosecuted in game. I think we all have an agreement there. It would be considered libel, and the tavern should be closed as well as a fine payed by the owner of the tavern. Nothing too major, but enough to make sure it won't happen.
It's awkward when everyone agrees...

| Milady Clasp,
That happened because you guys took small steps to find the middle ground. When people don't jump to rash conclusions, or bring some non-related issue in to complicate matters, much can be accomplished. Humans interact, it's inherent. It's just that free-will that makes us such a mess, lol. Can't wait to see you guys tackle the next subject--whatever it may be. Clasp there is an open seat on Patron's platform and 11 on LOF, think you would join somewhere to make good use of your negotiating skills. Perhaps debate moderator for the upcoming Duchal elections if running is not your desire.
See how easy that is to deviate and lose the momentum. I like the concession of not limiting free speech in tavern scrollers, but putting into law a penalty for libel therein. I may be a bit barbarian, but I like Lady Clasp's suggestion to close down the tavern as a punishment. It is a bit extreme; but a very useful deterent. People commit crimes after weighing the consequences. I think that consequence would be weighty enough not to violate the crime, hmm. Hope I helped and not hurt the progress.

| ~laugh~ now Greg I KNOW you accompany your wife there on occasion so do not pretend you have never been mesmerized by that nefarious smiley they use to entice you into spending no less than an hundred bucks per trip even when you only came for a gallon of milk.
I assure you I was not disagreeing it is a law that would have merit. As while a sign that targets one person with harassment or insult WOULD be illegal by game TOS a Sign that boasts false information about another political party would not.
So such signage COULD be used LEGALLY to disseminate false information and deliberate misinformation about other parties unless a county law were on the books to prevent such which is one reason the past council enacted the DEFAMATION law.
