yikes! new job??

I just noticed that I suddenly have the title "mines superintendant" next to my name at the castle.

Since I have no idea what that job entails, nor was I aware that I had been placed in such a position, can someone tell me or direct me to the appropriate place to find out what my duties are?

I realize I am only here for a brief time, but I don't want to shirk any responsibilities.

What does a mines superintendant do?

Was this move the result of some game mechanic, or did someone appoint me without me knowing about it?

Uh ok, That's a start. thanks. Is there a screen or dashboard somewhere where I obtain the info for this report? How do I access it? and to whom do i submit the report? A link would be quite useful actually.

You do realize I am way above my level of expertise here, right?

OK im past the initial panic, lol. I found the manage the mines link and the info. Now where do i report that?

More than a bit lost, but fumbling her way through

I wrote about mine management in http://forum.renaissancekingdoms.com/viewtopic.php?t=45910 from the Sheriffs point of view. Our mines are set to auto management so unless they start to degrade there shouldn't be much to do. If they do degrade you turn off auto manage and apply some maintenance (using stone and iron to repair the mine) to get its state back up to good, and then turn on auto maintenance again.
