| I usually miss the teaching hires because reset happens as I am headed to bed and when I wake the 2 positions are taken but the last 2 mornings I have woken to no professors and each time I have applied to teach and each time 6 or 7 hours later I check again and have not been accepted to teach and noone else is teaching either.
Is there a game issue with the Uni of late? I checked with friends from a couple other counties and theirs seems to be running fine?

| Who's job is it to hire teachers? How does the university run? | |

| There is 2 classes today.
The Rector has to accept the teacher applications which are made in game and allow the teacher to teach is how it works.
If the Rector does not accept the applications there is no class.
The Rector has sole control over who is allowed to teach from the applicants who click on the option in game to express their desire to teach and the subject they are offering to teach.

| So, has the rector been on vacation perhaps? Does the county have to pay you is there any drawback to hiring a teacher if more than two have not applied to teach? I don't understand. | |

| Each student pays a sum to take the class and that is how the teachers are paid, so No the county does not owe me anything.
It was just very odd no classes were posted and still the rector would not accept my application to teach.
Normally there is always the max which is 2 teachers and normally both classes are full which is a total of 5 students per class
and I have not seen any notice of the current Rector who is Counselor Budicca unless this has been changed, being on vacation so No

| I have been acting rector. There has been only one day when there were no classes and that was because no one applied. I have been waiting a little longer to assign classes to give everyone a chance to apply and to offer a better selection of classes.. Some of our more experienced teachers do not log on right at reset.
If you want to teach, apply to teach.
You did not apply to teach or I would have accepted it.
A better use of your time would be to take care of the 4 pending lawsuits awaiting a judge's decision for 2 weeks.
Where is the judge? Has she been on vacation?

| I did apply 2 days in a row at 6:30 am EST and there was still no acceptance at 3:30 PM EST
I have screen shots of both and I canceled my offers at that time both days because I knew I would not be back before reset to work elsewhere if no one accepted the offers.
This was the same week we had 2 Greek teachers teaching the same night. One with a high percentage and one with a bit over 60%.
The Judge has been waiting on the in game vote on the legal corpus since the vote here to change the laws meant changing the laws in game and as I explained to the Prosecutor there was going to be an issue with the verdicts that could be taken advantage of via appeal if we have two different versions of the law.
My verdicts have been awaiting that and as it appears that the ingame vote will not be happening before the election I will go ahead and render those this evening on my return and let the COA deal with the appeals on error of law
