| However it is impractical for travellers or merchants. The current Municipal decree being voted on I created. One of the main concerns of the mayors and their councils is letting the merchants know about this law, when its only a town law and not in Somersets Legal Corpus. |

| Letting travellers know of the law is the reason why such notification is written INTO it.
This whole discussion is a bit off the wall, I think. The Somerset Legal Corpus provides for town edicts, this one was proposed initially by the person then in the public prosecutor position, was then voted on over a month ago by the Bridgewater Town Council, and brought to the County Council for ratification. Where it sits, while people make comments like, "I think we should make it to apply to all towns before we vote on it." which is just ignorant. It's a TOWN law, it's not intended to cover ALL the towns! It's written for Bridgewater, which town chooses to take advantage of its rights under the aforementioned Legal Corpus.
Now, will y'all please vote on this law based on the extant Legal Corpus of Somerset, so I can apply it? | |
