| A constable can be mayor. It's not one of those position that is incompatible with the other |

| I was Constable and mayor of Chard no one objected.
If Justinan is doing a bad job at either one then this discussion have merit.
So far I see no reason to mistrust his skills as mayor or Constable |

| Art. 3.4.8.:The Council positions of Public Prosecutor and Constable may not be occupied by one who also holds the office of Mayor of any town in Somerset, unless no other viable candidate is available for these positions.
i'm not viable (ie it is against my religious beliefs) but what about lord ra? or a shuffling of the other roles.

| That law need to be reviewed, imo constable potision does not create a conflict of interest with someone that is mayor. In the old system where the constable was chosing how many to put in every town, of course there were no way to verify and it could create an unbalance. But now considering that the Sergeant can see the amount of money left in the constable weekly allowed funds, you can easily verify if he hired unnecessary Chief marshal or marshal. And since anyone can see who is chief marshal/marshal in the travel section everyone can verify if something is wrong.
So i ask Hypno that if he agree with me that constable should be removed from that list without creating possible conflict of interest, that a vote should be passed to see if the council agree.
In the mean time i don't mind if a change of position need to be done |

| I could take the job. This county is full of defamators and we need active patrolling to get them all boosted. Ah! Not to forget about politically aware clones, who organised a demonstration in Chard against Father Teagan, before Ljs eradicated them in a shot. Had you heard anything of them Lord_Justinan?? |

Had you heard anything of them Lord_Justinan?? I am not surpised, your only posts here , yours and Teagans, is about positions and chairs. You really dont give a damm about the council and the proposals, you are playing here some kind of a co-worker and you flame all of us public. I will gladly could said some more but your actions are clear, of course i know everything about your actions there and of course i see that a number of chardians doeasnt aprove that. YOUR ACTIONS IN THE GAME , AND IN PUBLIC FORUMS, ONCE WILL BRING A QUESTION ABOUT THE PLAYABILITY FROM NEWCOMERS TO RK. So, don't "sell" to me cheap tricks from here, i am really sick of you !!

| Lord Ra you are eligible.
The Law does need to be reviewed Dralon but at the moment it is the law in fact.
and Councillor those clones in fact were supporting YOU as numerous posts that were removed can attest to.

| I know it's the law BUT it is an exceptional situation so please be patient, it will be sorted out in the future but we need a constable at the moment. I know it's not my place to made decision or do recomendation but i feel that we are going no where at the moment and we can't make the changes because Hypno bad condition.
So again please be patient, we need a constable and no one available to do the change so at the moment, i suggest we overlook the law until something can actualy be done.
Thank you |

| Until such time as his Grace Lord Hypno has recovered, and can review the situation, I agree that we should simply overlook it. The reasons for the law are no longer in effect, and none save only his Grace can change the positions we hold.
FWIW, I would certainly support Lord_Ra as Constable, and suggest that Lord_Justinan would make a better Mines Superintendent than the current one, who has yet to produce a report this term.
