In absence of our Duke and since many of our fellow councillors agree i will put up a vote. Once the vote is passed i will organise the revolt with your help.

I declare this vote accepted. Without Hypno for obvious reason Crying or Very sad and Michaellb inactivity it makes 6 out of 10.

Now it's the first time i organise a revolt so i need help on how to do it. I am chief marshal so i will not defend town. I would like to have the revolt today if possible, i would like to know how the revolt took place using the army in BW. Is it easier how does it work? By the way i'm running for next election in 13 days and i have 160 charisma point at the moment

Easy, from "your home" , click rebellion and then ATTACK THE TOWN HALL, find some more citizens to do the same and they will follow you ,as i doubt you will find some others with bigger charisma.
With no C.Marshall, and 2 of the Town Militia as you said, it will be easy.

You need at least 5-6 citizens if you have 2 guards.

We revolt here with full defence , 4 town militia and C.Marshal active as a part of the drill

My problem is actualy to find citizen.. with only 15 actives mostly level 0 they cannot afford 1 day of revolt. Is there any SaS without much charisma that can help... the revolt can be tomorrow i do not mind. I'm do not want to post an annoucement in the SaS forum to avoid any disclosure of our decision and compromise the revolt.

edit: also Michaellb is trying to run mayor again, i do not know why he try to run again but let's hope i win or this town will go dead again. This morning our population was only 78 when i logged in many dead got deleted.

Yesterday were there 2 of our citizens, Marae and Lil_bobo , was a nice oportunity....
Coordinate and action with your presence at the tavern, inform all of them who come there, i know that is rare phenomenon but you have to try.
Post here a defitive plan of your revolt so that some of the Councillors can come there if they want to.

I mailed Marae to ask if they could help in a revolt tomorrow. Ok here what i have in mind Jellysnail have higher charisma than me but he is trust worthy so both him and I would revolt, if Marae and LiL_BoBo can help it would make 4. We need at least 2 or 4 more depending on the militia jobs taken. The goal is to make the revolt June 7 so if any of you can get me some sas member to move tody it would be great. For citizen of Bristol my problem is none of them visits the tavern so it's going to be hard to catch them. So i request assistance from Sas and council members,

Thank you

My charisma is 255 so I would not be able to help but perhaps Ra and Krelian could.

I will check on a couple of other SAS members here.

Just to let all of you know Jellysnail has 255 charisma so anyone under can participate without problem... right now we are only 2 Jelly and me, waiting for a reply from Marae. In the worst case it will be June 8. I will keep everyone up to date.

Allright the revolt will be June 8, we do not have enough people to revolt today June 7. Chardonnay if you can come it would be great. I will request help from SAS in Bath and GC, Marae asked help for me in BW because she can't stay. So Allikath if you can find me people in GC i would be grateful.

I will work on that.

Maree is in GC. On her way?

Micheal has been active. He has posted in the forum and took my class yesterday.

Has anyone tried to contact him?

He at least needs to cancel the grant he is holding.

I will leave BW at next reset, so arrive on the 8th. The following reset is when I'll be able to click to attack town hall.

Allikath no i didn't try to reach him, the situation in Bristol didn't change even if he's back again. Still Jellysnail is in the town council and didn't ear from him. Also i need to remind that Michaellb is part of this council and yet except for his first post no one heard from him since.

Yesterday the town taven was empty of fish, we have some on the market but he didn't bother to buy some and stock it. I monitor his logging time, he log 2 times a day and is not there long each time. Even if we have cheaper price on the player market he didn't bother to lower the things he sell on the TH ie: He bought from our grant corn at 3.50 he sell at 3.75 in the TH. 3.55 is reasonable still he do not understand that. So we go on with sanctionned revolt, if he was caring that much he would read this thread and would comment his actions, but no he's not active at all in both Bristol and this chamber. The situation is getting worse day by day. If you check we have no new citizens (only 2 yesterday) and the population keeps going down because the dead are getting deleted.

edit: I know we could probably be able to force him to remove the town militia but doing so we would leave the castle without defence. I have a proposal, do you think we should force him tu put up only 2 militia job, 2 should be enough to defend the castle. Currently we will be 4 Jelly, Me Dralon, Chardy, someone else from bw Marae found for me, i fear that we will not be enough if 3 militia jobs are taken. So this is a possible thing we could do.

I have contacted some SAS in GC and 2 of them responded right after reset and are on their way to Bristol,
[cow] and Stechhopor will arrive after reset.

I told them only that they were needed in Bristol for security and I would give them more info as I learn it.
I told them you were the chief marshall and to look for you and contact you if possible.

I have not heard from the others so it is probably too late for anyone else to leave today but you might keep an eye out for visitors from GC.

I will come myself if you think it is neccessary.

Title : Re: bristol, the council concern

From : Michaellb , Lord of Clan Bradshaw, Earl of Manches
Date : 2007-06-05 15:26:25

The people are dieing form lack of work here and not enugh TP's to go around.

As to the town I try to get in every day and work.
but as I only have two TP's to give out each week myself I can not help all of them and only a few are answerring my notice to them about help.

If you or any one else has a problem try to find some lvl 2' and 3' to open a home here to provide work for these people. Don't just complain.
Thank you for your concern.

May Jah bless and keep thee.

Yours Lord Michaellb.

And where is the topic in Bristol hall to appeal to all Somerset for these points ?

We can help if we asked to, if we informed for .....

And where is the full job of Town Militia ? or the mines ? and if they dont have jobs where is the social programme of bread to 5.00 while they work in church or IMW untill town find a way out of the crisis ?

ALWAYS an active and clever Mayor will find a way to fight against the odds and dont lift hands up.....
It is not the Robe that make a Mayor great, but the help he can provide in every way, in every situation, he will starve if he had too to be Citizens satisfied.

REVOLT, enough is enought.

What kind of answer is that.. seriously.. not enough job?? ... humm oh yes we have 2 mines we can work in, 4 militia job only 2 or 3 taken, oh yes church, oh and worse wood cutting...

Secondly he's the town mentor since the beginning he should be in charge of the tp giving and to provide tips on where new players should work. I received a few request for TP, each time i gave them one. Lately i've been in the TH tavern or my tavern around 4 or 5 hours a day still no sign of anyone except Jellysnail or Marae when she was in Bristol not even Michaellb in his own tavern. Also, i remember that Hypno requested that he provide a plan... did he send such a plan???

His action/vision toward town economics are wrong and do not help new players at all. He provide bread in the TH tavern at 6.75 while i sell them at cost 6.50 because i really want to help the new players to be level 1 faster, it's not every new players that check each and every tavern. Every action he do in Bristol are nothing to help the new players. Even his lack of activeness here in this council show how he no not even care about the responsabilities that were given to him by the people that votes for him.. There should even be a sanction declared by the Duke for his lack of presence in this chamber. I'm really tired of this situation and so is Jellysnail. We both are trying very hard to get this town going and seeing thet Michaellb is runningto be mayor again made us say that if he win next election both Jellysnail and i will move out and leave this town in it's own misery. I'm sorry to say that but i'm extremely frustrated and tired of the situation, i'm doing my best but i have no power in Bristol except the one i can have here in this council. Many visitor can testify about the the current situation, talk to Marae she was here 2 days and the only citizen she saw entered the tavern and left immediatly. We, Jellysnail and i, want to help, we really want to make this town better, so that Bristol can be the pride of Somerset and the best capital of england but our patience has limits.

and to add to the current situation here are the town statictis taken by me before reset yesterday:

86 people in total in Bristol
13 actives
2 dying
2 new
14 in retreat
8 travellers
47 dead

At this speed the town will have less then 30 citizen within 2-3 days
