| In light of Dralon's resigning from council and moving to Scotland we have a problem in Bristol. We need to find out from Dralon what the situation is and decide on an action to secure the TH until an election can be held.
I will be going to Bristol for a few days to assess the situation.

| I have never taken part in a revolt (sanctioned or not) so I do not really know the procedure for this. What is customary?
(ooc, this does not mean I haven't read the guide to revolts, I have, so I understand the game mechanics of it all, I just do not know what the customary procedure (plan of action) is)

| Bring together enough people to overcome the guard. Make sure the person you want to be the new mayor is the highest charisma person involved in the revolt. Hand him/her the town hall.
It really is that simple in my experience.

| In a revolt the player who has the most charisma wins the Mayoral slot and then an election is set in motion by game mechanics at once | |

| I think it is prudent we do a roll call vote to authorize a sanctioned revolt to secure the Bristol town hall. Can we all agree we need to expedite this matter due to security reasons?
I vote yes to a sanctioned revolt.

| You can make it 8 if you would like. I say yes it should be expedited. What good candidates do we have, or will it likely be a County Councilor who is the interim mayor (and is that a problem if her/his primary residence is outside Bristol?)

| OK. Snowman and I revolted and he is now mayor.
The TH is in good shape but someone passing thru bought all the bread on the TH market so there is no bread.
Chardy please give Snowman a grant for bread.
We are seeing a lot of lvl 0s who's last connection date was 2 or 3 days after the date they were born. There are also several who went into retreat the same day they were born.

| Sell the bread through the town hall tavern to prevent anyone from taking it all at once again.
That's very odd behaviour to go into retreat on the first day. Most people don't even understand what retreat is on their first day. Perhaps those players accounts should be investigated further.

| Sorry i know i'm not councillor and still have access to the forum but i would like to give my insight about people in retreat. When i was Mayor of Marlborough last year i had 100 citizens in retreat because it's a bad habit for new players to click retreat and than leave the game. Same happened in Bristol new players tend to click retreat after they first hours/days of play.
As for bread the citizens had a tendency to buy by 5-10 breads so it's possible there was none left when TSM got into position
If you have any question regarding Bristol before i left i can reply here or im me on msn |
