| THe debate moderator has allowed the Patrons to make a speach in the debate thread. The rules say only 1 question answered and 1 rebuttal per submitted question, but the Moderator feels these rule do not apply to the Patrons. As such I call for his removal for breaking his own rules.! | |

| No.
Budica ma'am, seriously, this doesn't help anybody, least of all your party.
There are many fine citizens whom I respect greatly on both lists, and I wish none of them ill. I only wish that both parties might spend more time on their own answers to questions and less time on their opponents answers.
[heavy sigh]
Good Luck all. Atri | |

Good Luck all. Atri the rules of the debate say 1 question 1 rebuttal; so you think The Patrons should be allowed 1 question 1 rebuttal and 1 speech so far they have three post when only 2 are allowed. The debate moderator refuses to fix it so he refuses to obey his own rules and MUST GO!

What I think, ma'am, is that it doesn't much matter how many rebuttals your opponents post. Their actions reflect moreso on themselves than on you, and harm you much less than your insistance on using procedural objections to stifle them harms you. An "attack" only works if you respond to it. Please ma'am, don't make the debate about protocols. The Mod, I feel sure is doing all he can to be as impartial as he can. Personally, I don't see any "winners" coming out of this, least of all the people of Sommerset. As a peasant farmer, I could care less who posts what how often. I want to hear what each party's spokesperson has to say in response to the questions. All this other bickering and manuevering is just a distasteful distraction. This post is my personal opinion as a citizen farmer, for whosoever may find it of interest. My previous post is my official stance as a councilor, however brief.

| It seems that the moderator has acted in good faith and the issue has been dealt with effectively? At least that is how it seems to me. Honestly I am not following the debate that closely as I have given my word to stay out of it. | |

| The Censors stepped in and dealt with their side of it and the mod dealt with his side of it and it appears to be resolved.
No debate mod can be on 24/7 to call for removal of material that may be posted out of turn or in violation of the rules set forth for the debate itself.
If you want to call for having the party penalized by having to sit out one question or having to appoint a different spokesperson in lieu of the offending one then that might be a reasonable request but I do not believe the Moderator was granting special favor to the other side I believe from reading the discourse it was a timing issue instead.

| Good heavens, Budicca! As far as I can tell, Chris is as fair-minded and even-handed as one could desire in a moderator!
In any case, this vote is out of order, as there has been no discussion period. Too, it seems like a wonderful place for the nurturing of flaming and hissy fits, so I'm locking it before it degenerates to that point.
