Sounds right to me but I have a quick question. Lets say Chard sends someone to do business for the town can that person once he/she is there to do business for him/herself too or not? I'll vote as soon as I get an answer on this Razz

Thorpe, I believe your question is addressed in the following article:
Quote :
Article 1.1.1 An official merchant is a merchant who is working for a town or the Duchy. All profits made on the trip shall be for the town or Duchy that employed the merchant. Official merchants do not include those merchants working for personal profits.
I do not give a hard yes or no to your question, Lord Thorpe. How do you interpret it? You don't really need to answer that publicly, but instead answer with your vote.

As much as I am in favor of this proposal I feel I must abstain due to an obvious conflict of interests (I am an official merchant).

Abstain.

I have been given the proxy vote for Councilor Aeryn_Sun.

For Aeryn the vote is Aye.

(ooc. please not that I cannot click Aye on the poll counter at the top since I have already voted for myself. They Ayes should be one higher than it is right now.)
