The followers of the great Aristotle, including the wonderful Thomas Aquinas, ran into some difficulties due to there being evil in the world. We all know that Jah is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. But if this is true, how then could evil exist in the world? For if Jah is all powerful and all knowing, then he must not be able to see the evil that exists. If Jah is all knowing and all seeing, then he must not be powerful enough to stop the evil. If Jah is all powerful and all seeing, he must not know that evil exists.
Although this seems like a problem, the great followers of Aristotle were able to find away around this triparteid problem. They realized that evil really did not exist, for there was good in all things. Therefore Jah was not allowing, ignorant, or impotent when it came to evil, for everything was good.

Based on this logic, I started the current threads in the Somerset Inn. No matter how much someone's opinion differs from yours, Jah says that there must be good in them. Therefore, we should all take some time to recognize the good in each other. This is the purpose of my threads. I will continue these while I am able, and once I reach the point that I can't say enough about someone to start a thread, I'm hoping that someone else will take over on my behalf. I ask that the group of you take some time to follow through on this exercise ... even just meditating on the question itself cannot help but ensure that a renewed sense of cooperation and mutual appreciation will be fostered. I'm sure that I don't need to discuss the optics of failing to take the time to do this, do I?

Oh, and the purpose of these threads is not only for me to state my views on the council, it's for you yourselves to also participate. If you're truly able to work together, than you should be able to both recognize the positives in eachother and be willing to state them for all to see. If this is just going to be me offering my opinions, I can honestly tell you that with 3000 words, a final exam and a quiz coming up during the coming week, I will find better things to do. If I'm wasting my time, don't hesitate to tell me. In all honesty, I started this project based on the citation I recently received with hopes that I can leave a positive and lasting impression on Somerset after i'm gone. If you think that it's a waste of time, but you have the time ... please waste it. If you wish me to cease and desist because I'm wasting my time, please either tell me or go ahead and show me ... i'll stop this as quickly as I started it.

(sorry for reposting on this, but I did want to reconfirm the reason behind my madness)

Oh, and I should add that it doesn't make sense to deal with the Judge without considering the Public Prosecutor ... you're up.
