| I have a proposal to make to whoever is the next mayor (as only you two are running thus far) Today I have become Chards newest Baker , now Lady M has agreed to Mill flour at 25 pounds per day (she'll level up shortly) which if we can get wheat for 13 pounds makes the flour cost 15.5, if I can get this type of flour regularly I'm willing to bake at 25 pounds wage as well and therefore produce bread at 6.5 pounds. My question is this: would the town hall tavern be interested in a contract for the cheap bread? Or at least would the town hall be willing to help us in our endeavors, the limiting factor of Lady M's and my agreement is the amount of wheat she can acquire. Any other thoughts or concerns about this plan? Mike Black |

| I am allready running a program for Craftsmen of all kind delivering supplies at low costs in return for cheap food and goods.
So I will second this suggestion made by Mikeblack and encourage future mayors to take up this program of mine and support or local economy. |

| I like the idea. If more wheat farmers would be in it, it would work very well. Post it on the chard forum and ask for all wheat farmers and all millers and bakers to join it. Not all will, but many. Atleast enouth to supply the millers. | |

| The autobuy is enabled at 13 punds and I will sell it without profit to those who help the town, and in this particuliar situation TH will benefit greatly with cheap bread in the tavern. Hey CONGRATS by the way. Forget to say that |

| Thanks Bellos, now I just need a bit more cash and I'll be able to start baking Well that sounds good then, if I can get a miller or two getting some nice 13 pound flour regularly and supplying me with 15.5 flour I'll be able to pump out some nice 6.5 bread, and then you can use it in the green bush to keep the price of bread low How much bread does the tavern go through daily? Seems to me people eat there all the time, but I'm not quite sure how often I'd need to bake to keep the supplies up |

| Every two days I would think ... This is only a rough estimate since we now have many taverns in Chard |

| This is a great idea, Mike! If you need more wheat farmers, I would consider changing one of my fields. | |

| I'm not sure how much wheat we'll need vs how much is available already at 13 pounds from the town hall, as long as a miller or two can supply me with good priced flour regularly we'll be rollin |

| If anyone's going to send a message to the millers and bakers, I've made a list of all the millers and bakers I found in the town list: millers: LadyMarshmellow Adams Koppany Seamas Caroll Duzell (retreat) Zeva Spy4england bakers: MikeBlack Bellos R4zi3l JenJen Bodoku Ellyssia Poliphilus with Duzell in retreat, thats one miller to every baker (not sure how that's useful, but you never know! ) |

| Well Bellos, I guess i'm in no rush to start supplying the tavern yet, I think its a bit more important for us to make sure theres always bread in the players market first, so that will be my top priority for the next few days |

| Agreed !
TH will get supplies from the Trade Minister if things go all bad. Arcanejill have kindly supplied us with cheap bread to help the hunger strike in Chard. Famine is these days are rare ... especially for a town as rich as Chard.
Bake up a storm my friend. |

| Well I have to say, I think the bread famine is over Theres lots of bread up on the market now, and its not even selling too fast anymore (everyone has stockpiled up since the last shortage) I'm willing to start supplying the town hall tavern if you'd like |

| Now heres a question on ethics: If I get elected to mayor, is it right for me to use town hall money to buy my bread and sell it at the tavern? (this seems a little wishy washy to me...)
I'm thinking if I stick with my 6.5P price there shouldn't be any big issues though, since I obviously wouldn't be profiteering from my position as mayor (assuming I get elected) |

I think Adams is right, some of the bread prices are too high for the price of flour and wood that's currently out there. In the town hall message Mike, you're asking for a price of 6.60 - 6.70. Would it be better to make it 6.50 - 6.70? And is there a good way to in-force this? I don't want to see people changing professions because they think wages are unfair, have to keep the people happy! |

| Actually my prices are generally 6.5, they just sell really quick , the times I used to sell at 6.6 were when I bought flour around 15.8 All I can say is we need more bakers selling at a decent wage, trust though that very little at 6.7 or higher will sell with me baking each day at 6.5 and someone else (poli?) at 6.6 although I won't be too sad if a miller or two turns to a new trade, we are way way overstocked on flour Of course if Adams is willing to pay 500 pounds to make what will likely be at most a 5 pound daily wage increase (which I doubt will last) he can spend 100+ days working off his new workshop... also he forgets that only a couple weeks ago flour was 15.8 and bread was 7, which related to 44.4 per day wage, so I'd say things are evening out right now, we've just got more active millers then bakers so the flour piles up and prices go down |
