SAS Ball (the real one)

Slick whispers quietly into Rachel's ear excitedly. "I will be back" He then quickly exits to another room

After talking with Rachel for a moment, Marslynn starts to walk to where the rest of her friends are.
She curtsies to Ebrithill as he says hello.
Marslynn then smiles widely and waves at Angel...so happy to see her.

Marslynn curtsies to Aditya as he says hello to her.

She laughed as she saw Raider's fancy moves taking the tray and then trying to clap...
He gave up clapping and let out a loud howl.
She smiles as he taps his foot and bobbed his head to the music.

As she turns back around to watch where she is going..she is startled a little to suddenly sees James walking beside as wet as he could be.

She started to ask him what in the world had happened to him when he states,

"Hi Milady,..."Erm...Just wanna say happy birthday, Lady Marslynn. I would've presented you a gift, had it not went diving into the river with me..."

she turns to see his face is turning a nice shade of red as everyone is looking and smiling at him...Just as she started to ask him if he needed a towel..he made a gesture to the exit and said,

"I er...think I'll be running off now."

And he quickly runs out the door.

As Marslynn walks on into the ballroom she hears a friends voice...as she turns to smile at him he hands her a beautiful rose and says...

"Good Evening my dear Marslyn. I just wanted to wish you Happy Birthday" "Hope you will enjoy today ball, its all for you. You should thanks to slick for this"
"I guess I should get along now. Have a nice day then

Then he kisses the back of her hand as she curtsies to him.
Marslynn says to him before he runs off too...

This rose is quite beautiful...thank you Sir Grobel...

Marslynn continues walking through the ballroom as she sees Cait wave and head for the closest bar...
Marslynn rushes over to her and hugs her tight...

It is so wonderful to see you again Cait...i have really missed our times in the Tavern.

Caitilin put down her glass quickly as Mars rushesd over. Putting her arms around her dear friend, she hugged her so tight.

"Happy birthday Mars! It is so good to be home in Somerset. I fell like I have been gone forever." Cait wiped a happy tear from her cheek and hugged her again. "You simply must tell me all of the gossi......news. And who is that handsome yeoman over there?" She pointed in the direction of Azazeal. Picking up her glass again, Cait sipped at the warming whiskey.

Darkreligion enters the ball with flowers in his hand. He tries to find Marsylynn. After a 5 minutes of searching her, he finally found her.

"Happy birthday Marsylynn , here is a little gift for you. Hope you will enjoy ball."

Bemm walks intothe ballroom reeking of cheap ale.
"evenin all, you'll excuse me for a moment but i am supposed to meet my date at the bar"
Bemm staggers over to the bar.
"there you are my dearest, you look absolutely beautiful"
Bemm reaches over the bar and grabs a bottle of the finest cognac.
" oh how ive missed you, its been too long"
Bemm chugs from the bottle like it was cheap swill and wipes his mouth on his dirty sleeve.
" well now we can start the party yes?"

Ploate enters the Ballroom, trying not to get noticed. He goes stand quietly in a corner, leaning against the wall.

He looks around cautiously for any demon spirits, holding his rosary tight. He was ready for anything that could be lurking in the shadows.

OOC: a little ghostie told me I would be haunted if I didn't come...

Finally Murata got out of his armor and found a kind of robe.
But he does not feel like dancing at the moment so he joins Ploate.

James was making his way out of the castle when he met one of the townsfolk who's standing guard tonight. The man saw "Hey James, your daughter wanted me to pass you this parcel."

James laughed as he finally understood why Alicia had ran back home instead of accompanying him for the ball like she will usually do. He thanked the guard and made his way into a sideroom to change into the new suit, carefully placing the wet one into the parcel. Looking into the mirror and adjusting himself slightly, all looks set....except his squishy shoes.

Slipping back into the ballroom quietly, he made his way to the bar and ordered some drinks. Casually looking about he spotted Ploate with his rosary and chuckles, walking to join him. "If Rook is here he would gladly help you with spiritual problems mate."

Mady walks around, greeting everyone she knows, as her loving man heads for the bar... She notices Patan has finished her dance, and approaches her to give her a warm hug...
"My dear Patan, you look ravishing! It's so good to see you again... I've missed you... We must catch up on all the news and gossip later..." She looks around... " I wonder where the rest of the GC troops are... I've missed them too..."... at that point, she sees Giangio approaching, holding 2 glasses of wine...
"Look at him..." she thinks to herself "He is radiating..." She gets caught up in his captivating smile, his sparkling eyes, full of joy... She feels her heart dancing, as she just stands there, smiling...
As her man comes near, she takes her glass and whispers... "You saw an angel? That's funny... I could have sworn I just saw one too... " She softly kisses him, and raises her glass to him... "To us, baby... to us...."
She then turns back to Patan and asks... "You've met Giangio, haven't you? The man who changed my life..." Turns to her love... " Darling, you remember my good friend Patan, from Gloucester... "

She smiles, leaning on his shoulder, notices James coming back in and waves to him, and thinks they should all really go and wish their Captain a Happy Birthday...

Grobel smiles hearing Ad's reply. He has found someone that have share similar thought in some cases. He sips his wine as Aditya leaves to greet his friend. "Oh boy, looks like everyone has someone they knew". He looks up to the sky and continue looking...
"Oh Hans, I hope you are not going to dead of getting bored looking to the sky"

Adit came back to the balcony with a new glass of wine
It seems that Grobel is still there

sorry about that, she's an old friend that i rarely see...

Then he take a sip from his glass

James grins and took another sip from his glass, "Well...I'm not really a big fan of ballrooms...can't really dance "

James noted Mady's gaze and waves back to her, smiling brightly. The dark metal ring glimmers in his hands and James laughs again, looking back at Ploate.

"Its kind of funny how everyone have their ways to guard against spiritual beings isn't it? So....who's this ghostie?" He looks around, wondering if he'll have a chance to meet this friendly spirit.

Grobel looks at adit face as he came back to the balcony. He smiles "Nah no problem at all. So long i have not come to Bridgewater. How is thing going on there?"

"You are not the only one who can not dance."

Ploate smiles and tries to remember when he danced last...

"Who is ghostie? Well, can't you guess? Who would like to have a lot of people here?"

During her dance with Ayahv, out of the corner of her eye, Patan had noticed James enter the Castle. He looked wet through and muddy and she kept her eye on him, intending to find out what had happened to him. However, at the end of her dance, she looks across the room to see him quickly walking out.

She stands quietly now, listening to the music, and suddenly notices James walking back through the room and over to the bar. Seeing that his clothes are now dry and clean, she smiles softly and waves to him, hoping that they might have a chance to talk; perhaps he might even ask her for a dance, just one of the simple slow ones, maybe.

A broad smile appears on her face as Mady reaches her and they hug, "Mady, I'm so happy to see you after such a long time! I thought some of the other troops were coming, but I haven't seen them so far - perhaps some of them are having trouble deciding what to wear!"

When Giangio brings Mady her a drink, Patan smiles at him, "Yes, of course I met Giangio...hello again! I miss not having Mady in Gloucester, but I'm grateful to you for making her so happy!

Mady, do you think James will come and say hello? He looked rather bedraggled earlier but seems to be a little more comfortable now!

Talia wakes up feeling much better than she did the day before when it was her captain's birthday. She dresses quickly and runs over to the castle to see if anyone is partying late perhaps. She sees a few faces still and places a small gift with a card on the table with some other gifts.

Tatammy does the gangsta handshake right back at Rai but did it in a more gangsterish way. Raider had a big smile just looking at him ( ) and tatammy was very scared ( )

"Howdy there Angel and Rai, how yall doin?"

"Hey Rai, do ya like me suit?"

Raider laughed as tatammy greeted with a howdy

Raider couldent help but laugh again
