SAS Ball (the real one)

Slick seeing that Luja and Bee had moved on to talk to other guest, Decides to take Rachel for a quick dance and then back to their positions where they would greet their guests.

"Dont worry dear we are going to make this into a party Slick style"

Ayahv took Patan's hand with pleasure. He was impressed with her soft smile and strong, but delicate, arms. The dance was much more warming than most refined liquor. Trying to do not dissapoint her with his dancing skills, he watched his steps very closely. When the musicians changed the melody, he said:

"Thank you for this dance Milady, I hope you liked it as much as I did..." after a short break, he add "...May I call you Patan?"

Moving gracefully around the dance floor with Ayahv, Patan was enjoying herself. The music was inviting and her partner had clearly practiced his skills, allowing them to dance lightly around the room.

By the time the dance ended, her happy smile met Ayahv's remarks, "Yes, thank you, I enjoyed it very much. The orchestra are very good, aren't they - they play so delightfully. And you are a very good dancer."

When he asked if he could call her Patan, she replied, "Of course, you may call me Patan...Well, except when we are on parade, of course!", she added with a quick grin.

Bones laughs and lends over to kiss her good friend Ash on the cheek, "I would give you time alone with my dress but I am kind of attached to it" Laughing she takes the drink "Thank you, looks like it is going to be a great night. Is Cait coming tonight?"

Raider growled athimself as his foot got tangled up in the carriage seat, not letting him exit it. "damn this thing..comeaaaaan"

Hearing angel speak, he used all the force he had to lift himself out and onto the ground, when stationed he strecthed and brushed himself off, looking to angel and laughing,

trouble??? of course not

He moved closer to her and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, takeing a few steps back he smiled widley as he observed her.

You look absolutley amazing

He said as he clutched his arm with hers tightly, but not to tight. As they proceeded into the fantastic building, raider took the time to notice it, both from the exterior and interior. when they finally entered the building, raider stoped and smiled at all the familiar faces, not sure where to go first he turned to angel and chuckled with the smile still running across his face.

Tatammy walks into the room looking around he spotted one of his best buddies Raider.
He soon thought to himself that it was a very refreshing and calm place to be.
Looking for angels in this life isn't easy, but today he saw see one. He looked around the room once more for his friend.
he soon spotted her and rushed right to her "You look stunning Sheon!" he said immediatly.

Adit woke up...

"huh i guess i fell asleep, strange"

He looks around and found out that the ball is getting crowded
He ordered another drink and walk around

As Slick and Rachel danced away ignoring their host duties, Slick found it hard to contain his joy. However the music ended and he and Rachel had to go back and greet the guests. But he did not want to bore Rachel.

"Let us get drunk first and then greet the guests"

Ebrithill walks into the ball room and notices how stunning everything looks. Just beside him stood the beautiful Darkember who's dress seemed to dazzle all. Ebrithill approches Slickrick to congratulate him on the wonderful job on decoration the ball.

Holding a wine glass in one hand Bee reached up with the other and gently caressed Lujas cheek when she saw him smiling to her. She stared lovingly to him as her mind started to wander....

Luja turned so Bee quickly looked and smiled as Ayahv greeted them...she gave a little curtsie,..”Thank you and its very nice to meet you.”
The music began to play and Bees smile grew. She watched as Ayahv ask Lady Patan to dance…she was watching them glide to the dance floor when she felt Luja start to turn toward the entrance.
Following Luja, she noticed Slick and Rachel walking towards them... then off to the dancefloor.

Slick smiles as Eb approaches him at the bar nearest to the doors. He introduces her to Rachel, his lovely date. He then looks past Eb to Dark and smiles again

"Wow you and my cousin look good together"

Angel smirked and smiled, resisting a laugh as he finally got out and brushed himself off. She blushed slightly when he kissed her cheek, but the color on her cheeks only grew more as he stood back and complimented her.

"Yeah... thank you...but..." Angel looked away, crossing her arms loosely over chest, her lips pouting a bit since she really wanted to wear something else. Angel felt incredibly flattered, but embarrassed with the way she was acting about his compliment. She snapped out of it when he linked their arms together and he led the way inside, saying back to him with a grin,
"You're not looking too bad yourself."

The ball was way more impressive inside, and her eyes slightly widened knowing Slick was the one who set this up. When they paused for a moment, her gaze slowly panned from left to right at the decorations, and then right to left looking at all the people.
"Hmm..." She wanted to greet Slick first to congratulate him on his success with decorating, and his ability to obtain such a large amount of alcohol... but alas, he was addressing Ember and Eb. She then spotted Luja and Ladybee excusing themselves from Patan and Aya.
"Ohhh, I spot Lujabee." she said, tilting her head slightly in their direction.

Slick looks as Angel approaches him. Excusing himself, Slick goes to meet Angel. Giving her a hug Slick smiles at Angel's words

"Here is a secret, I got most of alcohol from my secret stash under the Lt office"


Slick winks knowing that everyone heard what he has said but were too busy pretending to be engaged in conversation. Slick had to find a new hiding place.

Seeing Tatammy, Sheon smiled at him.

"Ah, you finally made it! I was beginning to think that I've been had," she grinned at him. She hugged herself, feeling rather awkward in a dress(which she is rarely caught in).

"Oh you think so Tat? Thanks!! Well...I was never the dress sort of person...nor the ball going type," she continued on, shifting her weight one side to the other.

"You're looking pretty good yourself funny guy," as she looked over him, then reaching up to pat his hat. She grinned, perhaps she should get a hat like that someday...

She then turned her attention to the crowd around her, seeing a number of familar faces. She spotted Grobel too, a friend she met while in Gloucester. And ah, Foreverbones, she hadn't seen her in a while.

"Sighs...is this what I'll be giving up?" she said to herself softly. Realizing that she had said it outloud and that Tat might have heard her, she quickly changed her tone to a happier one. "Let's go meet the others!"

Raider smiles as he hears angel spotted luja and bee, after Angel and slick chatted for a bit, raider led them on towards luja and bees direction, when they were in sight raider smiled and said

Papppiiiii, mommmiiiiii he howled and when close enough gave them both a hug, and then stepped to the side so angel could do the same.
How are you guys?? great to see you here!

When the family was united, raider looked around wathing as everyone was seeming to be having a good time, he put his arms around every, forcing almost a family huddle.

Ok..heres the plan *whisper whisper whisper..nadadada whisper whisper*

When it was over raider broke up the huddle and smiled deviously

Sensing that Rai was being devious as usual, Slick smiles.

"This is going to be fun"


Slick took Rachel in his arms and kissed her on the cheek. He then led her to the entrance where they would wait for the arrival of more guests and the guest of honor herself

After a very long day on duty,Marslynn rushes home to get ready for the Ball.

She could not decide if she should wear her hair up or down.

Marslynn finally arrives at the ballroom quite later then she had thought it was.



She just stops and prays this dress looks ok.

As she walks in she sees the beautiful room and all the decorations that Slick had put up.
She is amazed at how wondrous the room looks.

As she is admiring the beauty of the room, She sees all the friends she has come to care about so much.

Marslynn walks up to slick and the beautiful woman with him and says,

Slick, this room is so beautiful...I must thank you for all the hard work I know you must have put into it.
And who is this lovely young woman with you?

Slick smiles. He announces. THE GUEST OF HONOR has arrived. He introduces the always beautiful Marsylnn to Rachel.


"Please enjoy the ball, we are waiting for a few more guest and then you really will see what a ball this is"

Marslynn blushes a bit as Slick introduces her,

It is very nice to meet you Mi'Lady, I am happy to see Slick is so lucky to have such a beautiful woman on his arm this evening.

Marslynn then sees Az over by the cakes and smiles to herself for a moment as she remembers the last party they had attended where there was cake.

Bee got all excited when she saw Eb and Ember, she gave them a little wave and a big smile. When she noticed Sheon and Tatammy, she caught herself instinctivly wanting to run over and jump on Sheon but seeing Sheon in her beautiful dress quickly reminded her this wasn't the time or place. Bee giggled to herself as she squeezed Lujas hand gesturing towards thier freinds.
She occasionally saw a flash run by her which was Slick, with Rachel on his arm, being the most excellent host. She threw a quick wave, hoping he might catch a glimpse of it.

Bee laughed with delight when she heard the howl and saw the "kids" coming towards them.. "Hiii...great, you made it! How is everything?" Bee hugged them both tight.
Breaking from the huddle, Bee rolls her eyes and giggles.. As they chatted Bee noticed her glass was empty. She looked down at it, then looked to Luja, then looked around, then looked at it again then happened to see a server with a tray of full glasses. Bee quickly and slyly switched her empty glass for a full one as the server passed by... She smiled as she took a sip and looked all innocent at Luja and continued chatting...

Sheon accepted the orange juice, thanking him. She sighed a little, as she was actually hoping for some hard alcohols. Perhaps she could go help herself to some later, especially the cream liquor, for it has been such a long while since she last had it. Whiskey and Vodka may give her the harder inner kick she always yearned for every now and then, but of course there will always be times where she would like to have a different taste of liquid other than the usual burning ones.

She sipped a bit on the orange juice. She smiled, thinking about her past. It was hilarious when she gave an old friend of hers orange juice laced with alcohol. The poor girl wasn't too pleased, but they had laughed it off the next day.

Gazing away, she spied the Chardian family not too far from where they were standing. Almost as on instinct, she took a step towards them. But she stopped herself, her foot still in mid air, not quite touching the ground. She pressed her lips, a small frown upon her face as she thought back over some things. Maybe after a few drinks, perhaps.

She grinned when she saw Marslynn coming in, and marvelled at how well her dress looks. Immediately that grin faded away as Sheon smacked her forehead, finally remembering something she OUGHT to have remember a few days ago.

"Oh crut, another session of backlog paper work, " she groaned.

Ember walks into the ball holding the arm of Eb. Ember looks at Eb and smiles.

You certainly look quite handsome Ember winks at Eb and notices Slick approaching them.

Ember smiles at Slick's witty comment and bats her eyelashes.

Ember scans the room and waves to all the familure faces. Sheon, Bee, Luja, Tata, Slick, all of her closest friends, whom she missed dearly while she was away.

Ember takes a deep breath, straightens her dress, and looks at Eb.

You ready to go have some fun? Ember says, smiling, hoping her dress looked okay!
