SAS Ball (the real one)

"Ah...No thanks Tat, you can have all of it," Sheon politely declined the offer. She wasn't too shocked when she found herself getting squeezed from behind, considering who else was there in the ball. Really, it was not the first time this person greeted like that, who for some reasons or another chose to not greet her via the method the general population would usually do(ie: saying 'hi'). Not that Sheon minded really, she actually does enjoy it. However that particular time Sheon had actually intended to avoid this specific person for personal reasons of her own. But as Fate has it...

"Heya Angel, " Sheon greeted, giving her a quiet smile. When she saw Raider being pulled up, she said nothing to him, but just nodded to him in acknowledgement. "Well actually, I've decided that I'm really not a ball person. I'm just about to go and say hi to that 'mystery two' over there, " as she gestured at the direction where Grobel and Aditya were.

With that, she set her glass down onto a tray which a passing waiter happened to came by. She walked away a bit, then stopped. She sighed to herself, followed by a low chuckle. She then turned back to the group and with the usual small smile,

"Have fun at the ball you kids, " she said to Raider and Angel, and gave Angel a light friendly punch on the head.



And thus she left the group to their own bidding as she approached Grobel and Aditya.

"Heya Grobel, remember me? Too bad Digi ain't here, we could've had our mini reunion here," she grinned at him. Turning to Aditya, she greeted and introduced herself.

((OOC: for sake of simplicity and that I'm just lazy, please imagine Angel's face being plastered upon the receiving end of the 'punch'. I *could* very well photoshop it, but like I said, I'm lazy, so nyah. Illustration is for showing the friendly action I'm trying to convey, which I think it's kinda cute when people do that, and that I'm not commiting acts of violence for once, XD))

Clust enters and after scanning the room limps to where Slick is standing at the bar.

"I am very sorry for being so late sir. Since I am just a cripple old sergeant, who has been unfit for active service for some time, I wasn't expecting an invitation to this grand affair."

Adit sees somebody coming from inside

Ebrithill and Darkember finish dancing and walk away from the dancefloor, giggling together, to ladybeegood's table.

Celdonea runs after Aditya out to the balcony. "Aditya, I didn't greet you properly, my friend. I was looking for someone and got distracted. How are you? You know we don't get to chat much anymore. Come into "The Crossroads on Sunday, and we'll have a pint or two!"

She then notices the other gentleman standing there. Celdonea reaches into the folds of her dress and pulls out a carved wooden pipe. "Would either of you care to join me with a smoke? It's something I picked up from a merchant. You smoke this and then you feel smooth and relaxed. I have just a little left , but I can certainly share some with you two."

Another woman enters the balcony as Cel does, someone by the name of Sheon she heard. "Come on , dear, you join us too."

Adit smiles as Celdonea came to the balcony

i rarely got time to go to tavern lately

He forgot to introduce his new friends

Adit introduces Grobel and Sheon

Marae walks into the ballroom with Aris at her side. They were somewhat late but at least they made it. Marae looked rather stunning in her new ball gown.



She smiles at him and then glances around at all the decorations and people. "Looks like this will be fun, don't you think baby?"

Marae laughed lightly as Aris whispered in her ear and gave his hand a squeeze. "Don't worry, I've only got eyes for one person in this room."

She then leaned towards him and kisses him tenderly. "I'm thirsty, let's go find something to drink" Taking his hand again she starts heading towards a table with beverages.

Aris smiles back.. while she's responding her, he steal another kiss on her cheek softly.. certainly got a little purple at her reply... his eyes are glowing...

Holding her hands he is walking towards the beverage area, as she's thirsty. Aris thinks where Slick hide the best ale of England... one of those certainly enough to fill all the thirst...

Going near to the beverage area, he nods at some people... and order two glass of fine red wine. Takes both glasses he walks near to Marae again and handed her one glass and slowly sip at his wine.... the taste is really fresh and crunchy... while enjoying the wine... he's watching others... and holds Marae's hand with the other one...

As Ember and Eb approached The Frankopan's family table, Ember stops along the way, saying hello to her dear friends...

She passes Slick and his date at the door and gives a friendly wave....I'll have to find Slick and say hello when he isnt to busy! Ember thought to herself..

She then passes her cousins Bigguynye, and Bemm at the bar and gives them a cheerful hug.

Ember notices the waitstaff passing her by, with trays of the finest wine in all of Somerset.

She looks at Eb and smiles...How about a drink? Ember asks

Sheon smiled back at Aditya, and shook his hand.

"I believe this is the first time we meet? I am not sure, but you know as they say, the younger you get, the more stuff you tend to forget, hahahaha, " she joked. Turning her attention to Celdonea, "Greetings there, I think I might've met up with you ages ago, but I think it's been far too long for either of us to remember really, heheh. And why yes, I'd certainly like to join up with you all, it seems like the people in there, " as Sheon made a head notion towards the ballroom inside, "Are starting to dance, and I have to admit, dancing isn't really my style," she chuckled.

Seeing Big, she returned him his hug. Then seeing him off as he makes his rounds with the others, she rejoined the three at the balcony. But not before calling for a waiter to bring her a glass of Irish Cream. Pondering to herself, she wondered if she had seemingly forgottened something, but decided to pass it off.

"This party certainly needs a little fire to it to make it interesting, " she said deviously to the three, as she made herself comfortable. Her tone was of a joking sort, but Sheon was after all, a bored person there.

Bones smiles as a man she does not know hands her his dance card, she loves to dance so she places her mark on his card. Looking around for a servant and some more ale she frowns not seeing any near her, turning to Ash and taking his now empty glass "excuse me a minute, I shall go in search of some refills for us."

Adit smiles "yes i believe this is the first time we met"

"well i can't dance, and i don't have a date, so no dancing for me"
Adit laughs

Adit takes a final drink from his glass and heading to a bar to get some more

"one more please.." Adit said to the barkeep

Then he saw Marae and greets her, "long time no see..."

After that, he came back to the balcony rejoining them out there

with Sheo's words the lights (candles) suddenly went off. and out of a small room a cart with a large object came whirling to a stop at the middle of the ball room.


A mysteriously yet loud voice announced: "Ladies and Gents the Cake has arrived"

He laughs as adit reply to him.

As he was talking to aditya a voice came greeted him. He looked and sees a familiar faces of Sheon.

"Hey, its good to see you here" He smiles. "Yeah too bad he aint here. I wonder is he is a type of not enjoying a ball Haha" He laugh.

A smile again carved in his face as another beautiful lady come approach them. He speaks in his heart "I dont expect this to happen XD" As adit introduced him to the Celdonea he reply with a smile.
"Good Evening Milady, My name Hans von Grobel from Bath. Its a pleasure to have known such a beautiful lady" He smile to her and sips his wine again.

Hearing the topics of dance stuff. He said"Dont ever think I would dance. I will only embaressed myself Hahaha" He laughs

Suddenly the ball was dark as the lighting went off. He looks inside the ball and sees a large cake. It was beautiful, the decoration and all about the cake was splendid. He says to everyone "The person who make that cake must be really working hard for this. Thats the best cake I have ever seen"

Elizabeth sat watching the crowd with a smile. She wasn't much of a party person, but it was fun to see all the beautiful gowns and decorations. And of course there was the food. She was especially partial to sweets and there were plenty going around. Humming along to the cheerful music she sipped her wine, watching the swirling colors of the dancers.

After the cake got introduced, James decides to join Mfe and his friends in their conversation.

"Mfe, here for the giant cake eh?" Nudging the fun-loving guy in the ribs and giving him a wink. "Which bar are we targeting later?"

Feeling suspicious eyes on him after awhile, James chuckles and turns to greet Mady with a warm hug, "Nice to see you Mady," looking over to Giangio,"And nice to see you again Gi." Turning to Mady he whispers lowly, "You sure seems to be enjoying life hehe"

As the musicians starts to sing, James turns to Patan and held her hand gently, "Hmm...beautiful lady, I've arrived as you've summoned." He gave her a playful wink and smiled warmly before turning to watch Slick sing with the strange musical group. Chuckling, he sung with them as well, at the ending part, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU MARSLYNN!" He lifts his glass to toast the birthday lady.

Slick walks out to the middle of the ballroom where in the dark the waiters have placed a small platform. He clears his throat and announces.

" Before we eat the cake and dance to the merry tunes I want to offer a toast. Slick raises his glass in one hand TO OUR CAPTAIN MARSYLNN and TO THE SAS WHO FOREVER SHALL REMAIN THE PROTECTORS OF SOMERSET

Now be merry and dance and eat and drink in the ball. For those who think they will pass out there is a room filled with mattresses in the back. For those who are bored, I will be willing to challenge you to a Drinking Contest, Chardian style. That means you drink each glass of beer in one gulp and the winner is the last one to pass out." Slick winks and leaves the platform

SLick drinks his wine in one gulp and gives Marsylnn a hug. He then goes to Rachel on the cheek

After hearing the toast announced by Slickrick, Ithorn raised his glass and replied, "MARSYLNN and THE SAS" then took a mouthfall of the wine from the glass before lowering it back to chest level.

Then suddenly Ithorn raised his glass again and said "TO SLICKRICK ON BEING SUCH A GREAT HOST OF THIS EVENT" then took another mouthfall of the wine.

As sheon walked away, raider was about to say something but as soon as he tried he heard slicks voice, and other voices cheer out

Raider was unsure weather he should raise his glass or not, he decided to raise it half way therfore toasting to have of the cheer, but when the second cheer came, raider raised his glass fully

With the lights being off, and it being rather dark he could no longer spot sheon, and decided to give up on what he was to say. He sighed but smield at the same time, all though no one could prolly see the smile.

Yo Tat, i think the cupcake is awsome, when the lights turn on do you think you can point me into there direction?

He laughed a little and then spoke to angel

Would you like a pieace of cake? maybe some speciel 'candy'?
He winked and reached into his pocket, but hesitated in pulling his hand out.

Standing with Mady and Giangio, Patan flushes slightly as Big asks her to sign his dance card, but adds her name before he moves on to the next lovely lady. She enjoys dancing and is happy to be asked by another gentleman.

She looks around with a smile as Mfe greets Mady and Giangio, opening her mouth to greet him but then frowns as he ignores her and walks over towards the corner. As her troubled eyes follow him, wondering how she may have offended him, she notices Talia in the distance and raises her hand in a wave.

Suddenly the lights dim and a voice announces the arrival of the cake. Patan cranes her neck to take a look, oohing and aahing with everyone else at the directed across the room, James joins them and takes her hand as they sing along to wish the Captain happy birthday, raising their glasses in a toast.

Taking a sip of wine, she smiles softly at James, So, James. You look a little drier than when I saw you arrive earlier. Now that you are not muddy any more, perhaps you might be thinking of asking a lady or two for a dance, hmmm?" She lifts an eyebrow as her mouth widens into an impish grin, knowing that he really does not want to dance.
